Geeky mom and maybe a warrior princess.

Moved to Utah

I am officially back in Utah now living at my mom’s house and looking for apartments. Fun, huh?

Last Tuesday I got a call at about 8:30 AM for a job interview in Provo. A few minutes later my husband’s uncle walked into the apartment, announced he was driving to Utah, and asked if we wanted him to take anything up there with him. So I said, “Take me!”

So within an hour and a half, we’d packed all of my stuff and the babies’ things, loaded them into the truck, and off we went.

The Family Dog

Our little girl has taken to chewing on socks, and for the life of me I can’t get her to stop.

Actually of course she can’t eat a sock if one’s not available in the first place. But anytime Ethan gets home he sheds his shoes and socks immediately and in the most random places. And the moment he does, Mary’s got one in her mouth and is scampering around the apartment so as to keep me from taking it from her.

So I finally decided to take a few pictures. Doesn’t she look like a puppy?

Addicted to DSL

I took the leap and got DSL installed for a month to make my pre-move job searching easier. And its made an addict of me. Anytime I walk by the kitchen I have to sit down and check the job sites, check my email, read message boards, chat with my family, you name it.

But getting the DSL to work was no small feat.

After two weeks of tech support, a full on format, and a new modem, Sprint sent out a tech who plugged in his equipment and announced that the problem was on their end. Duh.
