For anyone who remembers, in January my little niece Lily died. Her brother Aren has the same immune system problems and has just had a bone marrow transplant to try to correct them. We’re all a bit terrified but so far he seems to be doing great. He’s such a funny, smart kid. I made a blog for them to type in and I have to say Rick’s writing style is just what the doctor ordered when it comes to calming the family’s nerves. Check out their site, and keep Aren in your thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks 🙂
Lily’s parents asked me to make this website in rememberance of her life and to help her brother avoid her fate. Please help if you can. lilyharper.org
I’d been hoping to revise this website this week, but as usual found something more important to do. Only this time the project actually WAS important. My sweet little niece Lily passed away on Monday. Her parents asked for a website dedicated to her, something cute and sweet to honor this special little girl. I think that was my most rushed, most difficult, and yet most meaningful and satisfying project ever. Check it out at http://lilyharper.org (Actually HER site’s now at http://lilyharper.org/lily/ )
If you can, please use the paypal link to donate a dollar or two to help cover their enormous medical bills and funeral costs. You don’t even need a paypal account, and every little bit makes a difference. The prayers and love flowing in from all directions are also greatly appreciated. Thank you.
