An old garden shed
wears years of sun and seasons
colors never planned
haiku
Random moods and thoughts
squished into tiny boxes
of five-seven-five
-

-

A pint of berries
too sweet to survive the drive
never made it home -

Imagine living
without asking to belong
like wildflowers do -

January mist
iced the forest with barbed wire
that melts at first touch -

She quietly waits
in her glittering disco
for the dance to start -

All good things must end.
Good things have beginnings, too:
here’s to what comes next! -

Between earth and sky
reflections float and flow by
quieting my thoughts -

Just when I thought love
(more…)
was the stuff of fairytales
I found out it’s real -

Tiny shards of light
frolic against the darkness
calling us to hope -

Fierce little flower
chases chills out with its roar.
All hail summer’s king! -

Sprouted potato
Or multi-headed dragon?
Earth decides its fate. -

Blossoms yawn awake
still in their striped pajamas
sweet sleepy flowers
