I couldn’t find a receipt I needed for a $200 rebate, and after searching everywhere, finally dropped to my knees and asked for some help. And when I opened my eyes, from my knees I was able to see it had fallen under my desk drawer.
Could that $200 have been even remotely important to Heavenly Father? Only because it mattered to me, and I matter to Him. So do you.
This kind of thing happens to me all the time. Off the top of my head I can think of a half dozen similar instances with lost keys, a lost driver’s license, a lost laptop…. oy! Yeah I might have a little problem with staying organized 😉
But here’s the thing. I know that not every prayer is answered the way we want it, when we want it. But by helping with these relatively insignificant issues, He teaches us to trust that the bigger things are in good hands, too. ❤
Great lil post, specially cause it was on my B-Day…
“…by helping with these relatively insignificant issues, He teaches us to trust that the bigger things are in good hands, too.”
So true! Keeping life in perspective with this realization certianly allows me to enjoy the great freedom He’s given me!
