(hyper)Mobility

Sharing because I’m having to be more public today with mobility aids: some of my joints are wobbly. Every now and then something slips & gets inflamed, and moving gets trickier.

In the past I’d push through issues. Now my muscles can randomly tap out when the joint is irritated.

Since I work at home, it’s not very noticeable, and since it’s intermittent, I still get to hike and dance sometimes. Just not this week. And this week I get to be more than a face on a screen.

Right now I can stand and walk very short distances without help, but not without pain. So I’ll be using mobility tools with longer distance this time. And maybe next time we meet I’ll be up for a hike. 🥾

It sounds like one of those tougher weeks, so I’m glad you’re giving yourself the support you need and listening to what your body is telling you. Wishing you an easier week ahead. Take care!

    1. Thank you. It’s happened before; this is my first time just trying to go on with normal life anyway. Traveling is tricky but I’m excited to see people!
