Today I decided to go OUT to eat instead of having lunch at my desk. So I watched the ducks while I ate. Enjoy the pics!
They weren’t terribly willing to go where I wanted them to go (see the nice picture I took of their habitat?) despite my partial sacrifice of the subway bun. Nor will they willing to get very close. Thank goodness for zoom lenses & cropping!
Maybe in a few days I’ll take pictures of the plainer, more plentiful, and more outgoing ducks and geese and will add them here. I just wish these ones weren’t so camera shy…
WELL – its a good thing I took pics of that mallard yesterday. This morning he flew right under the company truck as we were driving back to work. I hope he wasn’t anybody’s cousin.
Update 2: We went back to find the duck and make sure it was okay. It had waddled off. Luckily it was just stunned.
