Conversations from the back seat:

Ever listen to what the kids discuss on their way home from school? We have a bit of a long drive, and the fact that I needed to go to the bank today only made it longer. Still I had to wonder a bit at the range of topics discussed:

– The size of the flag at Macey’s vs the size of the flag of on the White House – how is it a grocery store has a bigger flag than the home of the president?
– Strengths and pitfalls of a communist society, and whether such a society could work on the private island they want to buy someday
– The geological differences between the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains
– The difference between “psychic” and “telekinetic” and how to use those powers (if you had them) to foil an assassin

Oddly, neither one really mentioned how their day went…
