Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Don’t tell Dorothy, but I found out what’s over the rainbow: Mount Timpanogas. I took this picture while at my kids baseball game.

Need it bigger? Drop me a note.

Aren’t those the moodiest clouds you’ve ever seen? We live on the smaller mountain just in front of Timp. The “Green field” in front is just a hill in front of the junior-high track.

  1. BEAUTIFUL! You take great pics. Still trying to figure out how to use my new camera, but just don’t have the time to watch the videos it came with or take a class… hmmm, guess I’ll settle for mediocre pics until I find some time.

  2. Hey Shannon.. thanks 🙂 There are some pretty good sites out there that are full of photography tips. Try http://digital-photography-

Also, whenever I see something like this that could make a really cool photo, I take at least a dozen pictures using different settings for exposure and what not so I can get as close to what I saw as possible. Particularly when the scene is made by the lighting… since cameras just can’t always see things the way our eyes do.
