Just read a great article on marriage at MSNBC: 7 Secrets to a Long & Lasting Marriage. I’ve said before that being a single mom in the LDS faith is a bit like getting enthused about gymnastics practice with a broken arm and leg: it’s not easy to keep my jealousy at bay, let alone try to manage the amazing feats everyone else seems to pull off beautifully. But being bitter doesn’t do anything for me. So I’m trying to just cheer on the others, do the best I can, and hope to heal so I can be a part of my own “Project Everlasting” someday.
