This spider was on the bricks just outside my front door Saturday. The blood red color and the look of “horns” had me wondering if I was looking at the devil himself.
Okay, not really, in fact I’m sure this creepy crawley little monster is just kindly eating any mosquitos that’ve survived the frost. The girl next door thought it was a garden spider; I’ve heard them called “cat face” spiders. But either way, he’s still rather wicked looking if you ask me. Thank goodness for 8x zoom lenses! :-0 Happy Halloween!
